Forgotten Names

In 2018, Hardel Sherrell was arrested and jailed in Beltrami County Minnesota. Within nine days, he would die due to the negligence of care from the county’s contracted privatized healthcare company, MEnD. Correctional facilities that employ MEnD have seen 25 deaths under their care since 2015. This film parallels the racial injustice across the country and the work Hardel's mother has done in the following years to achieve justice for her son.
